Nursery Ministry
"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones…"

The purpose of the Nursery Department is to minister to the children and parents/guardians of East Mesa Baptist Church. Our goal is to provide the best quality care in a loving, safe, Christian environment. We want to teach the children at an early age about their Savior Jesus Christ. The ladies of our church provide the nursery care during all services. We volunteer our time to provide care for newborns up to 3 years old.
Children & Youth
"Let no man despise thy youth..." ~ 1 Tim 4:12
Kid's Clubs
Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm, ages K-12th grade. Scripture memorization, handbook time, Bible lesson, games and fun. Call the church at 480-986-9827.
Youth Ministry
Reaching and teaching the teens at East Mesa Baptist Church is the goal of our Youth Department. We have dedicated teens that serve God in many different areas in the church. Activities are planned, and solid Bible Teen Bible Classes are conducted every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. We urge all 7th. – 12th. graders to get involved. Men's Ministry
"…and he is an honorable man…" ~ 1 Sam 9:6
The men in our church are truly a blessing. We plan retreats and outings geared for the spiritual growth of our men. We have men’s prayer meeting before all services. We are thankful that our church has men who love the Lord. Many of our men are trained to be soul winners, altar workers, and work in various ministries of the church. Ladies' Ministry
"…women professing godliness…" ~ 1 Tim 2:10
Our church is blessed with some wonderful ladies. They keep a strong bond by going to retreats and ladies' meetings. Bible studies and fellowship are offered each at our monthly ladies' meetings. Special speakers are brought in occasionally to speak to our ladies for encouragement and edification. Please get involved with the ladies of our church. They each have something to offer to you, and we are sure you have something to offer them. See Lindsey McBay
Ushers & Greeters Ministry
"…greet the friends by name." ~ 3 John 1:14
The members of East Mesa Baptist Church want you to feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The ushers welcome folks as they come into our church. Our greeters welcome you into the auditorium. Members of our church will help you in any way possible.
Bereavement Ministry
"Blessed are they that mourn…" ~ Matt 5:4
Sharing life in death! Memorial and funeral services are provided to comfort the bereaved in their time of loss. Our church is blessed to have the opportunity to present the Gospel to unsaved loved ones.
Worldwide Missions
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." ~ Mark 16:15
The Lord has blessed EMBC with sufficient resources to be able to support 70 missionaries and or missions organization around the world. Please pray for these families as they labor in the Lord's Harvest. To see a list of our missionaries, click the link below.
Food Bank Ministry
"For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat..." ~ Matt 25:35
Sharing the love of Jesus Christ is the main mission of our church. God has given our church a unique provision to help people through the giving of an emergency food box to those in need. We help veterans and handicapped disabled folks as well as unemployed and single mothers and children. Donations of food and money are appreciated and accepted through our church.
